Inherently, all communications traffic is moving to one protocol, IP. Voice calls have become data packets and from a carrier point of view whether the call originates on a landline or a mobile, that traffic is transmitted round the World over IP, i.e VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

Skyrack Mobile-X is unique; it’s a PBX extension with a geographic number. Unlike other FMC solutions it does not need to work over WiFi, it’s not an app, it works over GSM. It also displays the customers DDI as it’s number and not a mobile number (whats the point in merging mobiles with landlines if you can’t do away with the mobile number). It has no mobile network operator contract associated with it, there’s a monthly license only.
Skyrack Connect is our all encompassing Hosted VoIP service. As a customer you can have a simple SIP Trunk overlay service to any PBX (including enhanced Mobile Extension services too with Mobile-X), giving enhanced DR and Business Continuity features and security. You can have basic dial tone on our Broadsoft platform to a stand alone SIP phone. You can have Skyrack Connect Office which is the entry level PBX service. Office+ is an advanced Hosted PBX service, then you can add Reception console, call center services and a multitude of other enhancements including click to dial, outlook toolbar and web tool bar at any time.
