We applied for the “Most Innovative Channel Product Hosted” category, highlighting our innovation around our Broadsoft solution to deliver flexible hosted solutions, including integrations, or “SIP overlays” with traditional PBX, and our ground-breaking RMC product Mobile-X, which brings simple, powerful, unified PBX features to both fixed and mobile.

Award: Most Innovative Channel Product – (Hosted Telephony)
Skyrack Telecom is a Unified Communications Service Provider, established in 2009 with the sole aim to be best of breed when it comes to providing the complete suite of converged telecommunications services. Primarily, Skyrack supply services to the channel.
Skyrack offers Voice, Mobile, Data and Video; uniquely, all through the same Broadsoft platform. Through our MVNO with 3, we are able to offer a contract-less mobile PBX extension that uses a deskphone DDI number as it’s inbound and outbound number and crucially not a mobile number. Customers can do away with their mobile contracts immediately.
Skyrack can now offer Video Conferencing as part of a B2B customer solution too, either using video handsets from Yealink or Grandstream or by using video-softphones from Counterpath.
Skyrack believes in complete flexibility, thats why we’re working with the PBX manufacturers to enhance their mobile extension products with our Mobile-X FMC product. The PBX market is still buoyant and we believe in flexibility so we are providing SIP Trunking off our Broadsoft platform and a unique integrated FMC solution; all we are doing is replacing customer’s SIM’s with Skyrack’s Mobile-X SIM’s.

Tell us about your channel IP Telephony offering
Our IP Telephony offering for the Channel is based on Broadsoft, the World’s most popular Hosted VoIP platform. We have the latest version which has significant enhancements over previous levels which benefit a growing diverse partner base.
Skyrack Connect is our suite of Hosted VoIP packages for channel partners to sell to end users. Crucially, we have packaged it to cater for any size of customer, whether SOHO, SMB, SME, MLE or public sector. Connect Dial is basic dial tone, for stand alone phones in warehouses or receptions. Connect Office is our entry level business PBX feature set providing everything you would expect from a mid level PBX but also including all the benefits of Hosted of course like web management, outlook toolbar, instant DR and management, remote worker and more. Office+ is our high end PBX feature set with additional features you would expect like ACD, reception console, CommPilot, sequential ring, shared call appearance etc.. All our voice licenses use the HDVoice codec for superb voice quality.
Skyrack Mobile-X (award focus) is our groundbreaking FMC solution. Literally replace your existing mobile SIM with a Mobile-X SIM and you have your Office extension in your pocket. There is no mobile contract and no mobile number. The user’s DDI is mirrored on the Mobile-X SIM. Crucially, when the user calls out from their new Mobile their DDI is presented and not some ghost mobile number, unlike other solutions out there. Mobile-X+ provides all the advanced features of Office+ but on the mobile and now we are working with the PBX manufacturers to enhance their FMC solutions by offering our SIP Trunking products coupled with Mobile-X.
This brings us on to the final suite of products, the Skyrack PBX Overlay solutions using SIP+ and Mobile-X. We provide a standard SIP Trunk in to any enabled PBX and we provide Mobile-X SIM’s to replace the customers existing SIM’s and mobile contracts. The PBX FMC solution is unaffected we are simply replacing customers SIM’s with Skyrack Mobile-X SIM’s. PBX dealers can now look after the whole contract and not just the PBX elements.
We now offer video conferencing on the platform, so customers can buy either video-softphones or video handsets. Using video handsets for video door entry systems or desk to desk video the service is available for only an extra £1.50pm per user. We offer the latest data network services including EFM, Leased Lines, MPLS but Partners can buy elsewhere if they wish.
How easy is the solution to deploy by resellers?
The solution is very easy to deploy by Resellers. Everything is seemless. Just plug the phones in to the LAN and off they go! It could not be easier to install. As regards configuration; we can do it on behalf of the partner or we can give the partner exclusive access to all their customers giving them the ability to set them up ready for install and manage them ongoing; easy.
Resellers can chose to buy CPE from Skyrack or they can buy the kit from their chosen distributor, just as long as they buy the equipment approved by Skyrack, another reason to partner with Skyrack, another example of our ultimate flexibility.
How can you demonstrate that the channel is benefiting from your product.
Our unique selling point and our best innovation is in the Mobile-X product. We are giving Channel partners a product that is not only unique in the industry but it gives them the ability to compete with the big mobile carriers who either in our space or about to enter in to our space. Vodafone, in our opinion, is our biggest competitor. Channel partners across the UK are going to be coming across them in more and more cases in competition with their offerings whether it be PBX or Hosted or Mobile. Well, Skyrack is able to compete like for like and with a better solution technically and a much better price. So, we believe on innovation alone we are significantly benefiting the channel with the Mobile-X product.
Skyrack is ultimately an innovation company, we are in the business of selling Broadsoft licenses and Mobile-X MVNO licenses. We are also in the business of supporting the channel in any way they wish to grow a Unified Communications base. Skyrack have now set the benchmark for the industry with Mobile-X, Connect, SIP+ and PBX Overlay but the product we wish to be credited with the greatest innovation is: Mobile-X!
